JIA Foundationの沿革
| ２０１４年 | 現在代表を務めるいじりめぐみが発起人となり、JIA Foundationを発足。 | |
| ２０１５年５月 | 501(c)3のNPOとして登録。 当時のボードメンバーは６名でスタート。（現在は１０名） | |
| ２０１８年 | 第一回日本語で楽しむファミリー林間学校を８月１８－１９日に開催。 補習校や日本語学校に行っていない子供にも、日本の学校行事を体験し、同じようなバックグラウンドのお友達と一緒に楽しんでもらう夏の一大イベント。 | |
| ２０１９年 | 医療福祉関連の専門家のボランティアグループとして活動していたJSSN（Japanese Social Service Network）が、はあとのWAの医療福祉部門として参加。 | www.heartnowa.net |
| ２０２０年１月 | 第一回成人式USA （当初は、日米友好成人式との呼び方）を１月１９日に開催。２０歳から２１歳（日本の成人基準とアメリカのお酒などが飲める年齢）を対象に行われた。以降、毎年Martin Luther King Jr Weekendに英語で開催されている。 | www.SeijinUSA.org |
| ２０２２年 | はあとのWA主催で、毎月第３水曜日にオンラインでの認知症ケアギバーのサポートグループを開催。 |

| 2014 | Our current president, Megumi Ijiri Haskin, founded the JIA Foundation | |
| May, 2015 | Registered as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (NPO). Started with six board members at the time (now expanded to ten members) | |
| 2018 | Held our first Family Japanese Summer Camp on August 18-19. This summer’s major event provided an opportunity for children who do not attend supplementary or Japanese language schools to experience Japanese school activities and enjoy the company of friends with similar backgrounds | |

| January, 2020 | Helf our first SEIJIN-shiki USA, initially known as the Japan-US Friendship Coming-of-Age Celebration, on January 19. Geared towards individuals aged 20 to 21, aligning with both the legal drinking age in Japan and the US, this annual event is conducted in English on the weekend of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. | www.SeijinUSA.org |
| 2022 | Heart no WA hosts an online support group for dementia caregivers every third Wednesday of the month |
