JIA Foundationは、必要な情報や支援、相互のネットワーク、そして地域社会とをつなぐことで、在米日本人とそのご家族・ご友人のエンパワーメント（主体的な生活や活動の支援）に取り組んでいます。

JIA stands for Japanese in America. If you have an interest in Japan, you are welcome to be part of the JIA Community — nationality, ethnicity, and race are not factors.

Three pillars of JIA Foundation

JIA Foundationではセミナーやネットワーキングを通じて、互いの経験や知恵をシェアして助け合い、みんながより一層充実したアメリカ生活を送れるJIAのコミュニティを作っていきます。また、グローバルな時代を生き、色々な価値観やCross Culturalのかけはしとなる、ひとりひとりのユニークなアイデンティティーを持った若者たちの成長を支援していきます。

At JIA Foundation, through seminars and networking events, we aim to create a community where everyone shares their experiences and wisdom, helping each other lead a more fulfilling life in America. Additionally, living in a global era, we support the development of young individuals with diverse identities, who serve as ambassadors of cross-cultural understanding and values.

About JIA Foundation

JIA Foundationは、現在の日本からの移住者のニーズにこたえるため日本語でのサービスを提供するために、2014年に設立されました。その後、日本語だけでなく英語でもプログラムも提供し、活動の場を広げています。私たちは、日本文化の理解を深めたいと考える人々に、学びの場とサービス、人のつながりを提供しています。私たちはJIAの多様性を尊重し、みんなで協力しあって、だれもが参加できるコミュニティを作っていくために活動しています。 

JIA Foundation was founded in 2014 to meet the needs of the current wave of Japanese immigrants and expats who benefit greatly from Japanese language specific services. Since then, our programming has expanded to offer activities offered in English as well as Japanese. We educate, serve and connect people who want to preserve and deepen our understanding of Japanese culture. We respect the diversity of JIAs and work to create collaborative and inclusive community.  

Our program includes

• セミナー＆フォーラム：JIAの人たちの生活に役立つ内容（子育て、アメリカ生活、キャリア、医療＆福祉関連）を年間を通して提供　 
• E-ニュースレター：月に１－２度、JIA Foundationのイベントなどを配信。 
•  林間学校：補習校や日本語の学校に通っていない子供たちにも、同じようなバックグラウンドの友達になる機会、親たちにも日本語学習やアメリカでの子育てについてシェアできる場を提供しています。 
• 成人式USA：日本に興味があったり、日本の影響を受けて育った新成人（２０－２１歳が対象）のお祝いの式典を英語で行います。  
•  ソーシャルイベント：JIA Communityとしての交流会、日本語で楽しめる場
